From November 17, 2021, you can visit the new museum in Kopřivnice, which was created in the reconstructed building of the former Tatra foundry in Kopřivnice. The museum will present a unique collection of 80 Tatra trucks and chassis on an area of more than 5,000 m2. The oldest Czech car manufacturer is synonymous with a number of groundbreaking design solutions. Get a closer look at the fame of the „Tatra concept“.
The exhibition will attract visitors of all generations. The core of the collection consists of the original collection of Jiří Hlach, a private collector, which Tatra acquired in 2015. Why was the opening date of 17 November 2021 chosen? It is the 1st anniversary of Jiří Hlach’s death.
The Slovene Strela Depository is located opposite the entrance to the Museum of Trucks, but it is not included in the museum ticket. Visits to the depository are by reservation only on pre-announced dates and take the form of a guided tour. ATTENTION: Tours are not organised by the Tatra Truck Museum, but by our partner Tatra Technical Museum.
After the removal of the trucks, the Tatra Technical Museum was left with purely passenger vehicles of this world-famous brand. The original exhibition was supplemented with new vehicles. More at: Tatramuseum.cz

Our address is: Husova 1326/13.
Our museum is marked on the road orientation system as Museum Tatra II (truck symbol). Signs pointing to the Tatra Museum I (car symbol) point to the Tatra Technical Museum. After the railway crossing by the Penny Market on Husova Street, turn left into the pedestrian zone (buses are not allowed to turn here, there is an entrance for them a little further behind the garage). After entering the area, take a left after the Slovak Strela Depository.
The museum does not have parking areas on its property. There is a parking lot located on the grounds behind the Slovak Strela Depository (capacity of about 35 vehicles + 3 bus spaces).
Paarking spaces reserved for the handicapped are next to the restaurant building (on the right when entering the premises).
In case of full capacity it is also possible to use the city parking lot next to the Penny Market parking lot (turn before the crossing).
